Melbourne Cup Hats

The Melbourne Cup is Australia's premier racing event and is part of week long celebrations centred around the Melbourne Cup Carnival.  

"Fashions on the Field", established by the Victoria Racing Club in 1962, is a fashion competition open to all. Every day has its own unique theme and participants of the competition are judged accordingly, taking into account both their interpretation of the theme as well as seasonal racing standards.
