ROYAL ASCOT MILLINERY COLLECTIVE
We are thrilled to be part of this year’s Royal Ascot Millinery Collective with the incredibly talented fashion designer Daniel Fletcher at the creative helm.
The evening was a celebration of craftsmanship, creativity and couture millinery, perfectly paired to a collection of exquisite silk dresses by Daniel Fletcher.
Given the brief of a colour-drenched, monochromatic outfit inspired by Cecil Beaton’s ‘Bright Young Things’ we set about creating our lavender masterpiece ‘Baba Beaton’ named after Cecil’s glamorous, socialite sister.
We created an ultra-feminine floral crown, with trailing lace appliques and hand curled quills. The piece was finished with shimmering Swarovski crystals and truly shone on the Claridges runway.
The setting for this special evening was the quintessentially British Claridges Hotel, London where we were transported to a bygone era of sophistication and elegance for the launch of this year’s Royal Ascot Millinery Collective. We were joined by millinery-lovers Yomi Adegoke wearing our ‘Saffron’ boater, and Pips Taylor in the ‘Amina’ ostrich feather headpiece.
